David Davis, senior vice president, CIT Aerospace, Business Aircraft

David Davis has over 30 years’ experience in business jet finance. He estimates that he has financed aircraft in worth over $20 billion in 83 different countries (five of which no longer exist).

He is senior vice president and general manager of CIT Aerospace, business aircraft, managing all corporate aviation transactions and programs for CIT. He is responsible for all business aircraft strategic management, global business development, sales administration, portfolio maintenance, and group profitability.

He started his career with Cessna International Finance as regional manager for Asia/Africa & Pacific and also worked for Textron Financial.

Davis then moved to Bombardier, and Raytheon. His global experience includes finance originations exceeding $18 billion in more than 82 countries, primarily secured by aircraft used for corporate purposes.

He was president of NAFA for 2005-2006.

David received a BA in Political Science from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, and an MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
