Dassault take Falcon 7X to Marrakech Air Show
Dassault Aviation presents its flagship Falcon 7X business jet at the fourth Marrakech Air Show.
The Falcon 7X business jet is being showcased by Dassault Aviation at the Marrakech Air Show in Morocco being held from 23-26 April 2014.
Gilles Gautier, vice president, Falcon Sales for Dassault Aviation, said: “Thanks to strong development of the economy and fast growth in industries such as mining, oil and gas, agriculture and construction, we see great potential in Africa for long-term growth in business aviation.”
“Business jets are an ideal way to get around such a vast continent, where airline connections are often limited and ground infrastructure, minimal,” added Gautier.

The Dassault Falcon 7X has a range of 5,950 nautical miles and can fly from Marrakech to Beijing, Los Angeles or Cape Town non-stop. The aircraft can also fly from inner city airports such as London City to New York, Dubai or Lagos non-stop.
“Falcons are universally appreciated for their large and quiet cabin, advanced design and fuel efficiency,” said Gautier. “Not only are Falcons less expensive to operate, they also retain greater value on resale. On average, 7X operators will save up to $10 million in total cost of ownership over a six year period compared to its closest competitors.”
More than 70 Falcon jets are in operation in the African region, with around 15 per cent of them in North Africa.
