Cutter Aviation promotes Chadd Garvy to Chief Pilot

Chadd Garvy

Phoenix, AZ — Cutter Aviation recently promoted Chadd Garvy to the role of Chief Pilot for Cutter Aviation’s Charter and Flight Management Department based in Phoenix AZ.  In his new role Chadd will be responsible for leading and training a great team of pilots while growing Cutter Aviation’s charter flight operations and aircraft management services for their domestic and international client base.

Chadd began his aviation career in Tampa FL where he completed his primary flight training.  He progressed from Private Pilot to a Certified Flight Instructor in 13 months with zero failed check rides.  Shortly thereafter he moved to Phoenix AZ to begin a flight instruction career where he moved up the ranks and became a senior instructor and check airman in a 350+ student school within eighteen months.

In February of 2019 Chadd joined the Cutter Aviation charter department and quickly became known as the Pilatus PC-12 expert.  This expertise provided him with the opportunity to earn a Pilatus PC-24 type rating and he now flies both the PC-24 and PC-12.  With his dedication and keen sense of responsibility Chadd quickly became a key component of the charter department which helped pave the way to his new role as Chief Pilot.

In his free time Chadd enjoys going camping in northern AZ biking through phoenix and sharing aviation with friends.
