Congo ratifies Cape Town Convention
The Republic of Congo has ratified the Cape Town Convention which is designed to make it easier for financiers to repossess aircraft.

Congo accepted the treaty on January 25, 2013 and it will come into effect on May 1, 2013.
It is the 12 African country to ratify the Convention the others comprise of: Angola, Cape Verde, Ethiopia, Gabon, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Togo and Zimbabwe.
