Comlux KZ gains EASA Part 145 approval for Challenger aircraft

Approval allows company to perform maintenance on Challenger aircraft in Central Asia, CIS and Russia

Challenger 605Comlux has announced that Comlux-KZ based in
Kazakhstan has received EASA
Part 145 approval to provide line maintenance services to Bombardier Challenger
aircraft and support AOG requirements in the Central Asia, CIS and the Russia
region. The award of the certificate from 7 July 2011 follows a stringent
audit performed by the UK CAA on behalf of the European Air Safety Agency.

Comlux-KZ said “Two years ago, in order to develop synergies within the group, Comlux decided to raise the operational standards of Comlux-KZ to EASA level. Our team in Almaty worked hard to demonstrate our technical competencies and our EASA Part 145 maintenance appeoval is a sucess for the company.”

“Since 2008, Comlux is already providing EASA standard maintenabce services through our jet maintenace centre in Indianapolis USA, Comlux Aviation Services,” said Richard Gaona, president of the Comlux Group “This added authorisation in Kazakhstan expands our business aviation services in Central Asia while developing a worldwide maintenanc network.”
