Cessna expects first deliveries into Brazil by year end

Cessna has
announced that it has received a type certification for the Citation CJ4 from
the ANAC and expects to make first deliveries of the CJ family of business jets
in Brazil
by year’s end.

The CJ4 gained US
Federal Aviation Administration certification in March 2010, followed quickly
by first deliveries and has also gained certification from the European Aviation
Safety Agency as well as Isle of Man this
year. The company is working to obtain certification in Canada and South Africa by the end of the
year.

Cessna delivered 19
Citation CJ4 aircraft in 2010 and 16 through the first half of this year. The
aircraft is approved for single-pilot operations and shares a common pilot type
rating with the other CJs.

Retail price for a
typically equipped CJ4 is $9 million.
