Dassault names Eric Trappier as new chairman and CEO
Charles Edelsteinne is retiring in January with Eric Trappier taking over at Dassault as chairman and chief executive officer.
The Dassault Aviation board has co-opted Eric Trappier, a director of the company, as director of Dassault Aviation, in replacement of Philippe Hustache.
Charles Edelsteinne will retire on January 8, 2013, as chairman and chief executive officer of Dassault Aviation. Upon his proposal and in agreement with Serge Dassault and board of directors, he will be replaced by Eric Trappier who will become, starting from January 9, 2013, chairman and chief executive officer of the company, assisted by Loïk Segalen, who will become chief operating officer. Charles Edelsteinne will remain a director of the company and will join the Audit Committee.
