Cooling & Herbers boosts aviation law practice with the appointment of Chad Voss.

Chad Voss has joined Cooling & Herbers legal firm in Kansas where he will focus on state, federal and international tax issues, as well the acquisition, sale and leasing of aircraft.

“We’re pleased to have Chad join our team at Cooling & Herbers,” said Jim Cooling , managing director. “He has demonstrated exceptional ability, especially in the area of tax law, after a distinguished academic career at the University of Missouri and at UMKC.”

Voss joins Cooling & Herbers after a short spell at the Law Offices of Charles E. Hammond, LLC.

He is a 2010 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Law. He graduated from the University of Missouri in 2006 and later earned a masters in accounting from UMKC’s Henry W. Bloch School of Management and an L.L.M from the UMKC Law School. Voss can notably speak Spanish as well as English.

Aviation law is one of five main areas of practice for Cooling & Herbers. The firm regularly advises on aircraft transactions, aviation tax, regulation and certification and litigation.
