Cessna’s joint venture with CAIGA delivers first two Citation XLS+
Cessna says the joint venture it has in place with CAIGA has completed its first aircraft deliveries.
Two Citation XLS+ aircraft were delivered to Guangzhou Zhongheng Group, Ltd during the Air Show China event, held at Zhuhai’s Jinwan Airport, in southern China’s Guangdong province.
The serial numbers of the aircraft are 560-6176 and 560-6177.
“Businesses around the world have continued to select the Citation XLS+ because of its unique blend of performance capabilities and operational efficiencies,” said Textron Aviation president and CEO Scott Ernest.
“We are honored to celebrate Guangzhou Zhongheng Group as our Citation XLS+ launch customer in China and commend the company for evaluating the options in the market and choosing this aircraft as the productivity tool that will help grow their business throughout the region.”
Guangzhou Zhongheng Group’s business interests include pharmaceuticals, hospitality and real estate. The Citation XLS+ aircraft were chosen to give the company greater access to smaller airports.
“Having the ability to quickly meet face-to-face with business partners and customers is key to our continued success and business growth,” said Guangzhou Zhongheng Group chairman and president Madam Xu Shuqing. “By selecting the Citation XLS+, we know we are not only making a wise investment choice for our growing company, but that we are also backed by the unmatched breadth of support and expertise within Textron Aviation.”
