and Louisville International Airport are expecting more than 600 general aviation flights in the Louisville area for this weekend’s Kentucky Derby.

Cessna will welcome pilots and guests with on-site “thoroughbred-inspired” Citation aircraft and service solutions.

Cessna’s line of business jets is named after the famed thoroughbred “Citation.” In 1948, Citation won the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. Citation went on to win the Preakness Stakes and the Belmont Stakes to win the Triple Crown in 1948.

The aircraft wil be on display at Atlantic Aviation at Louisville International Airport. The display will include the Citation XLS+ and the Citation CJ3. The company will also make a mock up of the new Citation Latitude business jet available for customers and the public on a reservation basis.

A Mobile Service Unit will be available to help with any on-site challenges customers might have with their aircraft.

The Citation Latitude mock up will be open from 2 May – 4 May 2013, from 10am – 5pm daily.
