Cannes AirShow 2013 to display luxury cars and boats for the first time
The organisers behind Cannes AirShow have announced that a number of aviation companies, including UK-based Aeris Aviation, will make their debuts at the trade show in 2013, in a year that also displays luxury cars and boats for the first time.
The show, which runs from 6 – 8 June at Cannes International Airport is dedicated to the general aviation sector in Southern Europe and will showcase a wide range of aviation exhibitors including major manufacturers of executive and light aircraft, as well as international suppliers and service providers.
New to the show in 2013, Aeris Aviation – who exclusively handle Eclipse Aerospace’s European distribution – will be demonstrating its Total Eclipse 500 aircraft and arranging demonstration flights for interested purchasers. Aeris will also promote the soon to be delivered Eclipse 550.
“The Cannes AirShow is primarily an aviation event enabling visitors to find out about the latest trends, products and services for general aviation. However we know that they are always looking to maximise their time and by positioning boats, cars and aircraft together we can ensure they can gather a lot of relevant information in one single show,” says Didier Mary, show director.
Also returning is Daher Socata who will be showcasing the TBM 850 Elite Version with its flexible seat configuration, versatile cargo space and stylish interiors featuring leather seating. The aircraft will have new Garmin Synthetic Vision Technology in the cockpit.
Beechcraft will also be displaying its new version of the latest Baron G58, the Bonanza G36 and the KingAir C90GTX.
