Textron taps aftermarket chief Brian Rohloff to lead Aviation

The appointment comes as Textron Aviation is in an ongoing push to improve factory productivity and deliver on an $8bn backlog.

Textron has appointed Brian Rohloff as president and CEO of its Textron Aviation segment, effective August 31, 2026, succeeding Ron Draper who is retiring after more than 27 years with the company.

Rohloff is an internal appointment, having spent 29 years at Textron Aviation across customer support, sales, supply chain and quality functions.

He most recently served as senior vice president of Customer Support, overseeing the company’s global aftermarket operations. Previous roles include vice president of Quality, vice president of Sales, and senior product director for the Citation XLS+ and Citation X. He holds a degree from Wichita State University.

“Brian is a proven leader who brings a deep understanding of our business, our products, our customers and our industry,” said Lisa Atherton, president and CEO of Textron Inc. “Throughout his 29-year career with Textron Aviation, Brian has demonstrated strong leadership across multiple functions and has built trusted relationships with employees, customers and suppliers.”

Draper led Textron Aviation for eight years, a period during which the company expanded its product portfolio and strengthened its market position across jets and turboprops. “I want to thank Ron for his outstanding leadership and many contributions to Textron throughout his career,” Atherton said. “Under his guidance, Textron Aviation strengthened its position as an industry leader and fostered a culture centered on pride, quality and safety.”
