Bombardier announces partnership with The Mobile Repair Team

Bombardier Aviation has announced a partnership with The Mobile Repair Team to expand its customer support service by adding in-house structural repair capabilities.
Andy Nureddin, Vice President, Customer Support, Bombardier said: “Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and this extended partnership with The Mobile Repair Team will allow us to provide worldwide skilled and proficient structural repairs directly through our Customer Response Center alongside the outstanding service experience that our distinguished Bombardier customers expect.”
Bombardier’s structural repair service is a collaborative effort with The Mobile Repair Team, a company which specialises in the completion of aircraft structural repairs worldwide. Bombardier Aviation will continue to provide repair solutions at one single point of contact through Bombardier’s Customer Response Centre.
Elsewhere, aircraft-on-ground (AOG) and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services have been witnessing a large increase in demand as travel restrictions lift and aircraft require maintenance to get back in the skies. Constant Aviation has reported that its mobile team is working at 120% capacity, whist Elliott Aviation has expanded its AOG capabilities to include Textron Aviation (Hawker, Beechcraft King Air, and Cessna Citation) and Embraer Phenom and Legacy aircraft.
Meanwhile, Bombardier has delivered the first US-based Global 5500. The jet, which will be available for charter, was recently delivered to Unicorp National Developments, headquartered in Orlando, Florida.
