Boeing Business Jets has named David Longridge as its new president, after its strongest sales year in six years, with 13 BBJ orders in 2014.
Longridge, who has 21 years of experience at Boeing, replaces Captain Steve Taylor, who is leaving his position to become chief pilot at Boeing Flight Services.

The two announcements were made at a press conference this morning at the Middle East Business Aviation show (MEBA) in Dubai, along with news around around 30 per cent of BBJ sales have come from Middle Eastern customers.
“The market for Boeing Business Jets is strong with the first return to double-digit sales since the economic downtown of 2008,” said Taylor. “The Middle East region remains strong for both twin-aisle and single-aisle VIP airplanes. The Middle East represents the largest hub for BBJ 747s used for heads of state and private individuals.”
