Bitlux has unveiled an AI-based application to improve company training and onboarding processes it calls Bitlux Assistant.

The AI-powered assistant transcribes audio from sales calls, training sessions and operating procedures before refining it into structured documents.

“Training and onboarding are critical in aviation – not just for pilots and mechanics – but for everybody involved in operations, sales, and personnel,” said president  and CEO Kyle Patel. “The Bitlux Assistant makes sure there is no mistake about how things are done. It’s a wholly customised solution that reflects our company’s unique needs.”

According to Patel, management levels were 20% more efficient at the Florida-based aircraft charter company owing to a decrease in manual reviews. The company also plans to bring down onboarding times from 60 days to as low as 40 days in 2025, he added.

“Our Assistant doesn’t just create documentation, per se,” he Patel. “It provides structure throughout the whole organisation: what should be done and, very importantly, how it must be done and at what time.”

Flight management software is getting an upgrade, too, with the integration of AI into both internal and customer-facing applications. Among other features, it will perform data analytics, take notes and provide a directory of airplanes, operators and airport information.

“Our director of Technology has championed this new software design,” explained Patel. “It’s an all-encompassing system that will integrate SOPs, training knowledge, and so much more. It will set us up for the next phase of growth and expansion.”
