Bell Helicopters has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Reignwood, an independent representative for the Bell, to explore future opportunities in China, after Reignwood placed an order for 12 Bell helicopters at the 2013 Aviation Expo China.

The MOU allows the two companies to explore potential opportunities to collaborate and grow the Chinese helicopter market. During the Expo, Reignwood signed a contract to purchase ten Bell 407GX and two Bell 429 helicopters.

Chris Jaran, managing director, for Bell Helicopter in China, said: “We are pleased that Bell Helicopter and Reignwood have reached an agreement to further discussions regarding growth opportunities in the Chinese market.”

“Reignwood will serve as a key resource for Bell Helicopter in this region as we continue to grow our global presence,” added Jaran.
