Bel Air of Denmark orders two helicopters
Two AW189 helicopters ordered by Danish company and will serve the oil and gas industry in the North Sea
AgustaWestland has announced that Bel Air of
Denmark has signed a contract for two AW189 helicopters. The aircraft will be
used for offshore oil and gas transport missions in the North
Sea.
Bel Air is the latest offshore oil and gas
operator to select the new AW189 helicopter to meet its future long range operational
requirements.
Bel Air currently has in service, a number of
AW139s to perform offshore transport. The company also has AW139 helicopters on
order. Complementing the AW139, the larger AW189 will expand the mission
capabilities Bel Air can offer its customers in the offshore oil and gas
transportation markets whilst being the only helicopter in its class to comply
with the very latest safety standards.
