Bangor appoints James Canders as assistant airport director

Bangor International Airport in the US has appointed James Canders as assistant airport director.

James Canders was most recently has at W.K. Kellogg Airport, Battle Creek, Michigan, where he was both the airport operations manager and assistant airport manager.

Canders brings some 17 years of experience to the post, including senior roles at other international airports in the US and overseas, together with four years as an aviation operations specialist in Kansas, Germany, Macedonia and Kosovo with US Army Aviation.

Announcing his appointment airport director Tony Caruso commented: “I am delighted to welcome James Canders to the Bangor International team.”

Caruso continued  “His extensive management experience in the US, as well as on two continents and five countries overseas, will be of great benefit to Bangor’s expanding operations as a ‘tech stop’ and cargo facility.”
