Avinco expects to grow aircraft portfolio to $480 million in 10th year
Avinco, a specialist in large aircraft placement, management and leasing, plans to celebrate its 10th anniversary this year by building the value of its aircraft portfolio up to $480 million. This will place Avinco among the top 50 aircraft asset managers in the world.
The company was established in 2003 in Dublin and now employs 20 staff, with operations in Monaco and Ireland.
Avinco is also the largest trader of used helicopters worldwide and has closed transactions on over 240 helicopters – 20 of which have been closed in the first of half of 2013.
“Our recipe for success has been simple: since our inception, the company’s focus has been to provide the very best results for our clients, said François Gautier, CEO and founder. “Much of our business has been with repeat clients, proving our ability to build and keep strong relationships with our network, and deliver dedicated and effective solutions for each of our customers.”
“Over the past decade, Avinco has taken great pride in making aircraft acquisitions and disposals easier by offering tailored solutions to its clients, small and big alike,” he added. “Avinco will continue to evolve and expand, as structured deals become increasingly important for aircraft investors and operators. As we enter our second decade in business, we will be expanding our leasing platform and develop our capability to trade commercial aircraft using our own resources or in partnership with investors.”
