Aviation Fabricators (AvFab), a manufacturer of interior products for corporate aircraft, has received approval to install the company’s STC-approved King Air aft jump seat kits on all Beechcraft King Airs in Mexico.

AvFab received EASA approval for installation for all 100, 200, and 300 (including the 350) series King Air aft jump seat kits in April 2010. In addition, AvFab has US, Brazil and Indonesian STC approval for the seats, which fold down from the side wall of the aircraft in the aft baggage compartment.

“It’s important to the AvFab mission that we do our best to support the King Air in as many corners of the world as we can,” said G.R. Lowe, CEO of AvFab.

“Operators in Mexico will now be able to realise the significant versatility advantage of adding our aft jump seat kits to their aircraft,” added Lowe.
