ASL Group adds Cessna CJ1+ to charter fleet

ASL Group has added a 2008-built Cessna CJ1+ to its charter fleet.

The aircraft offers seating for 5 passengers and features an iridium sat-phone, in-flight infotainment system, refreshment centre and an enclosed lavatory. It will be operated and managed out of Brussels, Belgium, one of ASL Group Home Bases. The aircraft will be available 24/7 for (last minute) charter operations.

ASL has more than 15 years of experience in operating the Cessna C525 family of aircraft. To date, the company operates 4 C525 (CitationJet/CJ1/CJ1+) as well as two C25A (CJ2+) and one C25B (CJ3), al stretched variants of the C525.

ASL (Air Service Liege NV) is a Belgian company, founded in 1997 by Mr Philippe Bodson, specialising in services related to business aviation, particularly in management and operation of private jets. It holds, among others, an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) issued by the Belgian aeronautical authorities in accordance with European regulations, allowing it to operate commercial and private flights with a fleet of more than 20 aircraft.

In 2014, ASL merged with JetNetherlands (The Netherlands), it has become one of the leading companies in the business aviation sector in Europe. The ASL Group is present at most national and regional airports in Belgium and the Netherlands and also offers handling services for business aviation at the airports of Antwerp, Maastricht, Groningen and Liege.
