Tocumen International Airport is the largest airport in Central America.

The new Signature Flight Support facility Tocumen International Airport in Panama includes 7,000 square feet of lobby space, a pilots lounge, customer parking and on-site customs and immigrations facilities for business and private aviation customers.

S. Michael Scheeringa, president and CEO of BBA Aviation’s flight support division, which includes ASIG and Signature Flight Support said: “ASIG Panama, S.A. commenced operations in 2011 at Tocumen as the airport’s sole provider of aviation fuel services and has since invested significant capital in infrastructure and equipment to meet projected growth at the airport.”

Scheeringa added: “This FBO represents a new milestone for the airport, and both ASIG Panama, S.A. and Signature Flight Support are excited to part of Tocumen’s future development. Tocumen represents an important gateway for Latin America. Panamanian customers will enjoy the nicest general aviation facility in all of Central America and fitting for the international gateway to and centre of commerce in the region.”
