Asia Jet orders three Gulfstream aircraft
Asia Jet has ordered three new Gulfstream aircraft which will be operated from Shanghai’s Hongqiao Airport. The G150, G200 and G250 aircraft will be delivered in 2011 and 2012.
The business jet charter company has signed an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding with China Eastern Airlines to manage these aircraft in Mainland China. Asia Jet has one of the largest charter fleets in the region, with offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo. Asia Jet is the exclusive charter sales representative for China Eastern’s business jet charter.
“These are capable, comfortable, highly-productive aircraft. We have had a great experience with Gulfstream products and know the market will be very pleased with these proven performers and our exceptional level of personalized service,” said Mike Walsh, Asia Jet CEO.
Asia Jet is the exclusive sales and marketing agent for all Part 135 aircraft under China Eastern Airlines’ newly formed Aircraft Operating Certificate for the region.
