Appleby Aviation to attend MEBA conference

Appleby Aviation of the Isle of Man is attending the Middle East Business Aviation conference.

Appleby Aviation has announced that it will attend the Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA) conference from the 11 to 13 December 2012 in Dubai.

Isle of Man office managing partner, Sean Dowling and director of operations, Brian Johnson will attend the event as part of the Isle of Man delegation on the Isle of Man Aviation Services stand.

Brian Johnson said “Against the global backdrop of economic turmoil, the Middle East remains a strong market for aviation. In fact Bombardier’s latest market forecast report predicts up to 1,995 business jet to be delivered in the region between 2012 and 2031.”

Johnson continued, “MEBA offers a perfect opportunity for the Isle of Man to capitalise on this growth and demonstrate its expertise in a highly focused environment. We are pleased to be working together with the Department of Economic Development to promote the Island as a centre of aviation excellence.”
