Yousif Hassan Al HammadiAl Bateen Executive Airport has
named Yousif Hassan Al Hammadi as acting general manager.

Al Hammadi’s appointment
comes soon after the Abu Dhabi Air Expo at Al Bateen in March. The Abu Dhabi
Air Expo attracted over 10,700 visitors, 105 exhibitors including OEMs such as
Bombardier, Gulfstream, Eurocopter and Embraer and ratified business deals
worth an estimated one billion Dhirams.

“ADAC is delighted to
entrust the full running of Al Bateen Executive Airport to Yousif Hassan Al
Hammadi who has supported Al Bateen since its inauguration in 2008. With the
departure of Steve Jones back to the UK, Yousif has an excellent track record
in the operational side of the business, having been Steve’s right hand man and
an integral and pro-active member part of the senior management team.” said Ahmad
Al Haddabi, chief operating officer at ADAC.

Al Hammadi said  “Al
Bateen Executive Airport is one of the most exclusive business aviation venues
in the world and I am proud to be taking on the responsibility of running such
an innovative and successful enterprise.  Al Bateen has already made its
mark in business aviation and look forward to building on the airport’s many
successes with its terrific management team.”

Al Bateen continues and saw its
business aviation traffic grow 11% in 2011, with a successful first quarter in
2012, recording a 6% increase in aircraft movements compared with the same
period last year and a 23% increase in visiting business aviation traffic over
the same period.  Al Bateen Executive airport registered 2,641 commercial
aircraft movements in the first three months of 2012 of which 618 were movements
of non-based aircraft visiting the airport.

Al Bateen Executive Airport
will be attending EBACE in Geneva.
