Air Charter Service has appointed Andrew Summers to take on the role of managing director for the company’s Middle East operations in Dubai.

Summers has been with Air Charter Service since 2006.

Ruan Courtney, group managing director, said: “Andrew has not only been a manager of our private jets team in London, but as a fluent Russian speaker he has also played a key role in growing ACS’s Russian and Kazakh offices. Furthermore, he’s worked with many European and Middle Eastern clients, so we are confident he will be able to continue our good work in the region.”

Summers said: “I’m relishing the opportunity to continue ACS’s growth in the region. Whilst we have an established presence here for eight years, we still see this market as one with a massive amount of further potential for all three of our divisions: cargo, group charter and private charter, and I will be looking for the team to capitalise on this.”
