AgustaWestland secures first two UK sales of AW169 helicopters
Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance signs for two AW169 helicopters

has announced that the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA)
has signed a preliminary sale contract for two AW169 helicopters. The contract
was signed today by Andy Williamson, chief executive officer, WNAA and Bruno
Spagnolini, chief executive officer, AgustaWestland, during a ceremony at
AgustaWestland’s Yeovil facility in the presence of the Rt Hon Dr Vince Cable
MP, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation & Skills. The aircraft will
be delivered in 2015 specially configured for the WNAA’s air ambulance mission
requirements.
The AW169 helicopter program, which was unveiled at the Farnborough
International Air Show in July 2010, is progressing as planned with the first
flight scheduled in 2012.
