Affinity Aviation is delighted to welcome Duncan Potter and Eduardo Deneke to the team. They join as Partners in Latin America bringing with them a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Brazilian market.

Having already successfully completed three deals together, the company is very excited to see what the future holds.

Duncan Potter

Duncan was born in the UK and moved to Brazil at a very young age, where he became fascinated with aviation whilst watching the Lockheed L-188 Electras flying out of Congonhas airport in São Paulo.

He is a qualified pilot and has a wealth of experience in the aviation industry, most recently being responsible for all aircraft sales and acquisitions in Brazil for Southern Cross Aviation.

When Andy Hoy made the decision to create a partnership in Latin America, Duncan was an obvious choice.

“I have always believed strongly in the value of transparency and an honest nature in business relationships.” says Duncan. “And having known Andy for many years I had no doubt ‘The Affinity Way’ was a concept that I could put my full support behind.”

Duncan travels to Brazil often but is based in the UK and fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English with a basic knowledge of French and Russian.

Eduardo Deneke

Eduardo has worked in the aviation industry since 1987 starting his career as an aircraft engineer in the maintenance department at TAM, moving on to customer support and then on to the sales side.

Later joining Synerjet, becoming Bombardier’s exclusive representative for Brazil responsible for sales of Learjet/Bombardier products before moving on to Maga Aviation (a Bombardier ASF) as a Sales Director.

Eduardo says: “I decided it was the perfect match. I passionately believe we need to make the aircraft brokerage business 100% transparent in Brazil, buyer and sellers deserve that, and only qualified sincere professionals should be taking care of customers when they need to buy or sell an expensive asset such as an aircraft.”

Eduardo is based in Brazil and is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and has good knowledge of English. He joins Duncan as a Partner in Latin America.
