Aero-Dienst completes 120-month Global XRS check for Global Jet
Aero-Dienst, the Nuremberg-based operator, has completed a 120-month check on a Global Express XRS on behalf of Global Jet.
During the check, the Aero-Dienst team disassembled the VIP interior of the Global, performed a major overhaul of the landing gear, and completed extensive structure and systems inspections.
Before the Global was partially painted, Aero-Dienst ensured that all Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins had been completed.
“We are extremely satisfied with our decision to entrust the demanding and complex 120-month inspection to Aero-Dienst,” said Bernd Heinrich, director of maintenance at Global Jet. “Besides from the good, long-term and personal cooperation, what clinched it was the professionalism and reliability with which the Aero-Dienst team has executed all previous maintenance projects.”
Aero-Dienst says that its four hangars at Nuremberg Airport are currently very busy, with work ranging from a 12-year inspection on a Learjet 35 to a 120-month check on a Global Express XRS.
The Global XRS is part of Global Jet Austria’s fleet, which also includes a Global 5000 and a recently delivered Moscow-based Gulfstream G650.
