Aviation Concepts Technical Services (ACTSI) has completed a 192-month inspection for a Gulfstream G450. The inspection took place at the company’s MRO in Subic Bay, Philippines, earlier this month.

The MRO, based at its 18,000sq m hangar in Subic Bay, was the first in the region to complete the inspection on a Gulfstream G450 since the Covid-19 pandemic, according to Richard Wolfskeil, director of Maintenance, ACTSI.

[We are] the first fully independent MRO facility in the Philippines, and I believe in the region as well, to achieve this significant inspection on a Gulfstream 450 since the pandemic. With the dedicated and determined engineering team, the activity demonstrated a full range of skills and expertise that the ACTSI team can provide,” he said.

ACTSI achieved FAA approval to increase its operation specifications capabilities to include the 192-month inspection in September 2021.

Operating in the Asia-Pacific region, the Part 145 Repair Station also holds FAA, Cayman and Bermuda authorities’ licences and offers services in parking and handling Gulfstream business jets.

Wolfskeil looks forward to extending ACTSI’s capabilities to new owners: “Having accomplished this massive inspection, we are now well-established in discussing similar long-term inspections with other Gulfstream owners.”
