ACI Jet adds three aircraft to its charter fleet
California-based ACI Jet has added three business jets to its charter and managed fleet. Two privately pre-owned Bombardier Global Express XRS business jets, each with long-range capability, will be available under FAA Part 135 approval for on-demand charter flights beginning in the second quarter of 2018. The third aircraft is an Embraer Phenom 300, a brand-new privately-owned managed light jet.
The three aircraft add to the 10 aircraft that already form the company’s managed fleet.
The Bombardier Global Express XRS offers business travellers international-range to deliver non-stop service to much of Europe, South America, and Northeast Asia from California, and with a modern, spacious, and quiet interior. Introduced in 2005, the aircraft became one of the most successful long-range business jet for large businesses.
The Embraer Phenom 300 builds upon the success of being the best-selling business jet from 2013 to 2016. From Los Angeles, non-stop destinations for the Phenom 300 include Chicago, Toronto, and Cancun, Mexico. The model features a fully-enclosed lavatory and configurations accommodating up to nine passengers with two crewmembers.
ACI Jet’s new Phenom 300 will operate under FAA Part 91 rules and is the first Embraer product fully-managed by the company.
“These aircraft additions continue to build on ACI Jet’s strategy of growing our large-cabin fleet of aircraft, complementing our ultra-long range capable Gulfstream 650, and focusing on the highest standards of inflight service and amenities for VIP clients.”
Kellee Valentine, vice president of Flight Operations for ACI Jet said: “These aircraft additions continue to build on ACI Jet’s strategy of growing our large-cabin fleet of aircraft, complementing our ultra-long range capable Gulfstream 650, and focusing on the highest standards of inflight service and amenities for VIP clients.”
The company’s FAA Part 145 Repair Station has experience with the Bombardier and Embraer line, and the company’s Executive Terminals & Fixed Based Operations (FBOs) division provides ground services from its Santa Ana, San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, and Oceano, California facilities.
