The company, in collaboration with RUAG Aircraft Services GmbH, has converted a CRJ-200 regional airline configuration into a 10-seat VIP aircraft.  It has been fitted with the latest CMS/IFE technology. The aircraft was delivered to the undisclosed customer at the end of March 2013.

It is the first time that RUAG and 328 Design have teamed up on a conversion project.  ”We are really pleased to have supported our neighbours in Oberpfaffenhofen and we are confident that we can continue this relationship on other projects in the future,” said 328 Design COO and head of design Jörg Gorkenant.

“The professionalism and understanding of all aspects of the VIP conversion design and certification process was the reason why we selected 328 Design for this work,” commented Ulli Gehling, general manager Business Aviation of RUAG Aviation Services.

The 328 Group is exhibiting at the Aircraft Interiors Show in Hamburg next week.
