Bombardier delivered 25% less aircraft in 2009
Business jet manufacturer Bombardier delivered 176 corporate aircraft in its 2009/2010 fiscal year
Bombardier today announced that it delivered 176 business jets in its fiscal year, which ended on January 31, 2010. This was down 25% from 235 aircraft in its 2008/2009 year. It also announced “85 negative net orders” as customers cancelled deliveries.
The manufacturer says business aircraft deliveries are expected to be 15% less this year than in fiscal year 2009/10. This would work out at about 150 aircraft.
Bombardier’s fiscal year ends on January 31. It delivered 121 commercial aircraft in its 2009/2010 year.
