Like many aviation enthusiasts, Bernie found a passion for aviation early in life. “Growing up in New Jersey, I lived underneath Newark Airport’s flight path which was the busiest airport in the world at the time. I quickly realized that I would eventually have to find out how those 100 ton machines soared through the air.”
Obsessed by the desire to bring his childhood dreams to fruition, he attended Jacksonville University where he would gain all of his pilot certificates. Upon graduation, most followed the path of the airlines. Instead, Bernie chose the path less traveled and pursued a career in private aviation. Prior to launching B2 Aviation, Burns held management and executive positions with CitationAir by Cessna, Flexjet by Bombardier and even polished his culinary skills all in Chicago. Bernie offers a wealth of knowledge to the team on the dynamic landscape of private air travel.

Flying all over the world and serving as a manufacturer’s internationally based sales director gave Garett a detailed perspective into to the world of aircraft transactions. He recognized that customers in the preowned market weren’t receiving the same level of service and information as those buying new from OEMs.
He founded JetHQ to change that. His vision was to provide clients the best value for their investment, while forming relationships built on trust. He brought together a highly experienced team to connect buyers with the right aircraft, and sellers with a world of options to market their valuable assets.
Garett began his career as a pilot, flying demonstration and ferry flights for Raytheon, which later became Hawker Beechcraft. He traded ferrying – where he flew legs from Arkansas to Singapore and Scotland to South Africa – for the sales side of the business. He eventually served as regional sales director of Hawker Beechcraft, responsible for Europe, Russia and North Africa territories, based in the United Kingdom and Spain.
As JetHQ managing director, he still frequently travels to provide aircraft solutions for clients. A typical week might be a couples days in the Dubai, then to Hong Kong and then heading home to the Pacific Northwest. Garett gets the most fulfillment from solving problems, accepting that every transaction has unique challenges and logistical needs, and his knowledgeable team has the diverse expertise to solve them.
He continues to fly – holding multiple type ratings and an Airline Transport Pilot license and a current CFI– assisting with deliveries when the situation arises. He also takes advantage of the unique opportunities worldwide work offers, whether that’s shark-cage diving off the coast of South Africa or running a marathon in Switzerland. His main passion, however, is bringing together parties separated by language or culture, and coming away with relationship-based transactions that allow everyone to win!

In 2002, a novice to the aviation industry, Anthony made his mark at Jets
International. As a member of the sales team, he was quick to become a prominent
leader and mentor. After years of leadership and record-breaking sales history,
Anthony was eventually appointed as the Executive Vice President. He also
managed their retail sales department and sales teams in both Massachusetts
and New York City.
Through his leadership, Magellan Jets has seen incredible growth since its

the Boston Business Journal as one of Massachusetts Fastest Growing Companies,
and has made the Inc. 5000 five years consecutively.
Anthony works closely with Magellan Jets marketing and sales divisions to
strengthen the brand name and innovate the way Magellan clients utilize
business jets. Magellan Jets was the
first company to appear on iTunes with
their Private Jet Search App, allowing
users to search, book and sign for a
charter in a matter of minutes all from
a smartphone device. The innovation
doesn’t stop there; Magellan Jets was
also the first jet card provider to launch
a Wi-Fi Jet Card for business travelers. With his sales background, Anthony is
the ideal candidate to translate the client’s needs and expectations into results.
Anthony strives to create and retain strong customer and vendor relationships
through his belief in personal attention and open communication. He truly
