VistaJet and Bombardier sign billion-dollar deal for Global business jets

Bombardier and VistaJet jointly announced the largest single transaction in business aviation history, with VistaJet ordering up to 142 Bombardier Global business jets.

Luxury Swiss aviation company VistaJet has placed firm orders for 56 Global jets from Bombardier Business Aircraft – worth approximately $3.1 billion – and options for a further 86 Global jets.

The deal will be worth more than $7.8 billion should all options be excercised.

The two companies announced the historic order on the morning of Wednesday 28 November 2012 at Somerset House in London, with VistaJet represented by founder and CEO Thomas Flohr and Bombardier Business Aircraft represented by president Steve Ridolfi.
