Aircraft Servicing Guernsey Limited (ASG) has entered into a contract with Serco Limited to provide support for the disposal of 7 King Air B200, which have recently left a role providing a service to the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence.

Between 2003 and early 2018 the aircraft were part of the United Kingdom’s Military Flying Training System (UK MFTS) programme and provided multi engine aircrew training, as well as familiarisation and air experience for trainee rear crew.

Under the contract, there is a multi-activity scope of work across ASG’s range of capabilities. Serco has granted ASG’s aircraft sales business Fly ASG Limited with exclusive responsibility for the marketing and sale coordination of the aircraft. The scope of work also requires ASG to transition the aircraft from the UK’s Military Aircraft Register to the UK’s Civil Aircraft Authority’s register, including securing C of A and Airworthiness Review Certificate.

The scope of work is being coordinated and delivered out of ASG’s location at Guernsey International Airport, where the aircraft are also undergoing a range of maintenance activities and being stored.

The duration of the contract will be determined by the sale of the aircraft, and for the duration of the contract, the aircraft will fall under the airworthiness control of ASG’s Part-M / CAMO coverage.
