RUAG and Rolls-Royce plaque handover at EBACE 2016

RUAG Aviation and Rolls-Royce have signed an authorised service centre (ASC) agreement for the BR710A2-20 turbofan. A plaque was presented to RUAG during EBACE 2016 in Geneva.

This agreement allows RUAG Aviation to further expand the services offered for the Bombardier Global aircraft family, which includes the Global 5000, Global XRS, Global Express, Global 6000 and Global Vision.

André Ebach, general manager Business Jets at RUAG Aviation said: “We enjoy an excellent partnership with Rolls-Royce and look forward to developing this even further. As a Rolls-Royce ASC, we now perform CorporateCare engine services on behalf of Rolls-Royce in addition to our extensive range of aircraft services, including base and line maintenance, aircraft painting, upgrades and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) – all from a single source.”

Andy Robinson, senior vice president – Customer Services of Rolls-Royce added: “As the market leader in business aviation engines we continue to collaborate with the world’s top maintenance providers. We were impressed by the in-house expertise and international network proven by RUAG Aviation, as well as its reliable commitment to quick response and turnaround times and its ability to incorporate last minute upgrades.”
