Rizon Jet is proud to announce that its flight department has earned IS-BAO Stage 2 certification, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to the safety management system. Certificates of registration are issued by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC).

“With a Stage 2 Registration, Rizon Jet has demonstrated through our audit that they are managing the characteristic risks associated with their flight department in a proactive and predictive manner,” said William Mermelstein, VP Safety, Quality & Training, NEXUS Flight Operations Services. “Stage 2 also demonstrates that they are conducting internal audits and safety committee meetings on a regular basis, incorporating the lessons learned from the risk-mitigation processes, and are conducting safety training for everyone to become fully aware of the principles of the Safety Management System.”

This certification closely follows several other prestigious ratings Rizon Jet has achieved this year, including ARGUS Platinum and IS-BAO Stage 1.

Captain Hassan Al-Mousawi, Rizon Jet CEO said “As Rizon Jet continues to grow, we are continuously working to improve our safety culture and practices throughout the organization. It’s always a good thing having an outside set of eyes look at your organization and validate that your processes and procedures meet or exceed a recognized set of standards that represent best in class. We are proud having been able to achieve multiple safety accreditations that speak to our ongoing commitment to providing our clients with the best safety standards available in the industry.”

Achieving the IS-BAO Stage 2 certification puts Rizon Jet in an elite category among world air carriers who have a mature safety management system.
