NetJets became the launch customer for the Challenger 350 when they placed a firm order for 75 aircraft and options for a further 125 in 2013. The order could be worth $5.4 billion US (€4.8 billion), if all orders and options are delivered.

The first Challenger 350 was delivered to the US division in October. NetJets is now operating 11 aircraft in the US. NetJets Europe now has one aircraft will three more before the end of the year.

The aircraft, Challenger 350 (MSN 20544/CS-CHA) was delivered to NetJets Europe Cascais Portugal, home-base, via a night stop in Glasgow at the end of April. It has been doing crew familiarization flights since.

In NetJets Europe service, the Challenger 350 can seat up to ten passengers, with an option for an additional flight attendant. The aircraft was delivered with NetJets Signature series interior and can seat up to 10 passengers. The aircraft also has an option to carry a flight attendant on board, who will be able to serve warm food from the galley.

“We’re particularly proud of what we’ve achieved with our Signature Series jets at NetJets. All of the cabin materials you see on-board the Challenger 350 aircraft are hand-selected by our design team.” said NetJets chairman and CEO Jordan Hansell “This is complemented with iPads on-board each aircraft that feature pre-loaded entertainment content, along with a Blu-ray player and HD monitors. Additionally, our Signature Series Challenger 350 jets in Europe will have in-flight entertainment available later this year, which helps set us apart further from the competition.”

NetJets Europe say that the Challenger 350 fits between the smaller Citation XLS+ and the Larger Falcon 2000EXs in the current fleet, with 50% of all Challenger 350s due to be delivered this year already sold out.
