Metrojet and Taj Air have signed an joint venture agreement, establishing Taj Air Metro Aviation as a provider of aircraft maintenance and management services in India.

MetrojetMetrojet, the Hong Kong jet operator, and India-based charter company Taj Air signed an joint venture agreement today, establishing Taj Air Metro Aviation as a provider of aircraft maintenance and management services in India.

The agreement will see Taj Air’s Mumbai facility undergo a redevelopment, whilst a larger facility will be a built in the near future.

Today’s agreement marks another milestone for Metrojet in our journey to excellence in the Asia markets,” said Bjorn Naf, CEO of Metrojet. “Our partnership with Taj Air expands our operational footprint into India, with an aim of delivering business aviation service standards of the highest international standards.”
