Blink now has nine Cessna Citation Mustangs

Marshall Aviation Services at Cambridge has signed an agreement with Blink, an private jet operator based at Blackbushe Airport in the UK, to provide multi-year MRO and technical support for its six Cessna Citation Mustang VLJs (very light jets).

Marshall will provide base support in the UK at its Cambridge headquarters, together with AOG (aircraft on ground) support in Europe.

Steve Pantry, Marshall Aviation Services’ operations manager at Cambridge, said: “We are delighted to reach an agreement to support Blink’s whole fleet. Our experience providing Citation support, together with being able to perform a wide range of technical services such as interior refurbishment, repaint, repairs and upgrades with a significant in-house design capability, gives us the edge over many of our peers serving the Citation market.”

Earlier this year, Marshall Aviation Services gained another contract from Suraviation, a Cessna Citation Mustang operator based in Spain.

Committed to expanding its MRO capabilities, Marshall Aviation Services acquired the Hawker Beechcraft MRO in Broughton (Chester) last year. The company’s MRO activity covers Europe, Middle East and Africa, on the Cessna Citation family, the Hawker and Beechcraft product lines and Bombardier’s Global Express.

Marshall Aviation Services is responsible for all of Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group’s business and commercial aviation activities, including the management of Cambridge International Airport.

The company also provides aircraft management and charter through its FlairJet, which is run by David Fletcher. Corporate Jet Investor spoke to Fletcher onboard the company’s Citation XLS last month at the British General Aviation Day (BGAD) at Cambridge. You can watch the video below:

Across its Broughton, Cambridge and Oxford locations Marshall offers solutions including: maintenance, modification, refurbishment and conversion of business aircraft to Hawker, King Air and Cessna Citation aircraft amongst others.

The company is also responsible for the sale of new Beechcraft aircraft across the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia, hangarage at Cambridge and complementary services tailored to the requirements of business aircraft owners and operators.
