Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services GmbH (LBAS) has set up a line maintenance station in Zurich, Switzerland.

In partnership with ExecuJet Europe, LBAS offers line maintenance support for Bombardier business aircraft, including the Learjet 40, Learjet 45 and Learjet 60 business jets, all Challenger series aircraft, as well as Global Express, Global Express XRS, Global 5000 and Global 6000 business jets.

Christoph Meyerrose, managing director of LBAS, said: “Since a lot of our customers operate in western and southern Europe, we bring our renowned services directly to their doorstep. It is only a short distance from these economic powerhouses to our well equipped line maintenance base in Zurich, the financial and economic metropolis of Switzerland.”

Gerrit Basson, managing director ExecuJet Europe, added: “ExecuJet has been associated with LBAS for a long time. We are happy to extend our co-operation by new maintenance services at such an attractive location like Zurich. The line station helps us offering top service on site for our clients in this important market.

Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services is jointly owned by Lufthansa Technik, Bombardier Aerospace and Execujet.

As part of the new Zurich partnership, ExecuJet will provide hangar space next to its FBO at Zurich International Airport.
