LearJet 25D N265TW crash claims two lives

A 1978 build LearJet 25D registered as N265TW has crashed in Mexico, claiming the lives of the pilot and co-pilot.

The accident happened at 17:30 local time near Champoton, Campeche, Mexico on December 19.

Local witnesses told Mexican online newspapers that they saw the aircraft flying at a low altitude, before finally dropping out of the sky.

The aircraft came down in a rice, four miles away from any houses.

Mexican crash investigators were soon on the scene, and are currently trying to estblish the cause of the accident.

FAA records show that the aircraft was registered to T-Air LLC of Adelanto, California.
