Learjet 45XR of Key Air

Key Air has added a Bombardier Learjet 45XR to its managed fleet of charter aircraft. The Learjet becomes the fourth aircraft to join Key Air’s Part 135 certificate in the first quarter of the company’s 30th anniversary year.

The jet will be based in the Northeast United States and can fly 2,301 miles non-stop with a cruising speed of 437 knots. The aircraft is now available for private charters with accommodation for eight passengers; an entertainment system which includes DVD and CD players; dual video monitors; flight phone; mini galley with a microwave oven and a separate enclosed aft lavatory.

Ron Muller, vice-president for national sales at Key Air, said: “We are extremely happy with the addition of another super light jet to our diverse charter fleet. With the approach of the summer season and the request for this size aircraft increasing, the Learjet 45XR will provide another great option to our charter clients planning travel throughout the U.S., Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean.”
