Our guide

As a manufacturer of engines for business jets GE clearly understands the market. GE Capital is also a major financial institution in its own right and despite problems with parts of its finance arm in 2009 it is still a keen lender and lessor of both corporate and commercial aircraft.

With over 2000 aircraft in its portfolio, GE Corporate Aircraft Finance works with all types from turbines, light jets and helicopters up to large business jets. Like CIT it is also offers true leases, loans and sale/leasebacks. GE is also happy to finance upgrades to GE engines. Although it is worth stressing that an aircraft does not have to have GE engines to be financed by GE Corporate Aircraft Finance.

Based in Connecticut, GE Corporate Aircraft Finance also has offices across the US with international offices in Australia, Canada, Latin America and Europe.
