FlightSafety invests in the design of new Level D qualified simulators

FlightSafety is currently investing in the design and manufacture of 14 new Level D-qualified simulators that will be installed at
FlightSafety Learning Centres during 2012 and 2013. New simulators for aircraft training programs not currently offered by FlightSafety including the AgustaWestland AW139, Bombardier Challenger 605, Global 5000 and Global 6000, Embraer Legacy 450 and 650, Falcon 900LX, Gulfstream G280 and G650, HondaJet, Pilatus PC-12 and Sikorsky S-76D.

“FlightSafety is investing in comprehensive high quality training programs, new systems and processes, and advanced technology flight simulators for current and next-generation aircraft. We are also expanding our network of Learning Centers and facilities to support the changing needs of our customers around the world,” said Bruce Whitman, president and chide executive.

FlightSafety will also be adding new training locations for the Gulfstream G450 and G550 aircraft in Dallas and Hong Kong during 2012. The company will also increase its fleet of Gulfstream G650 simulators to three. This includes a second to be installed in Savannah during 2012, and a third to be added in 2013.

FlightSafety and Gulfstream will determine the location of the third G650 simulator based on Customer requirements.

Upcoming expansion to FlightSafety’s Learning Centre network includes the opening of the Hong Kong Learning Center and new Maintenance Training Center for Cessna in Wichita during 2012 and an increase in the number of locations for Pratt & Whitney Canada engine training worldwide.

FlightSafety operates the world’s largest fleet of advanced full flight simulators at Learning Centres and training locations in Asia, Europe, North and South America, the Pacific Rim, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
