Flying Colours, the business jet completion and modification
company, has installed a stone floor in a business jet for the first time.

The company fitted granite that it is 2.5mm thick to the entry/galley area, the
forward lavatory, and the rear lavatory of a Bombardier Global 5000.

German company List Components & Furniture supplied the
granite which is attached to a light backplate to give it flexibility.

The aircraft was flown from Bombardier’s Montreal completion
centre to Flying Colour’s facility in Peterborough Ontario.

Flying Colours says it has seen increased interest from customers wishing to
refurbish Global Express aircraft.
