Executive Air Services accepted on an FAA safety management system programme

Executive Air Services (EAS) in Miami has been officially accepted on to the Federal Aviation Administration’s safety management system (SMS) pilot programme.

With this acceptance, EAS joins other Part 135 charter operators nationwide who are currently enrolled in the programme.

“We are very proud to be one of a very small group of operators to receive acceptance into this program,” said Jeff Reis, managing director of EAS.

Reis added: “We have worked extremely hard over the last several years developing our SMS, and we’re therefore very pleased to be recognised by the FAA and to know that our programme meets the rigorous standards currently used by the airline industry.  Such acceptance illustrates our uncompromising dedication to the safety of our entire operation as we continue to deliver the ultimate jet experience.”
