Who said playing poker will get you nowhere?

Internet ‘superstar’ Dan Bilzerian has purchased a 1997-build Gulfstream IV private jet.

Bilzerian bragged about the purchase to his 4.8 million followers on photo-sharing website Instagram. The new owner first came to fame as a poker player, but has recently started to appear in films, such as ‘The Other Woman’ and ‘The Equalizer.’

Bilzerian said in a caption accompanying a photo of his new purchase: “I told my Dad I bought this G4, he said: “Congratulations son, by your age I had three.”

Gulfstream IV msn 1036 / N45AC will change registration to N701DB once the sales transaction has been completed.

The letters DB in the registration stand for Bilzerian’s initials.

Although the sale price has not been disclosed, similarly-aged Gulfstream IV aircraft are listed at just over $6 million on several aircraft sales websites.

Bilzerian has posted a number of private jet photos to Instagram in the past, including one of him flying with Pamela Anderson.
