The Global 7000 is the largest of the two new aircraft, with a max range just a shade under the Gulfstream G560ER at 7,300 nmi (13,520 km)

During 2015 Bombardier announced a production rate cut for the Global 5000 / 6000, citing falling demand, especially from emerging economies.

Deliveries of the Global family slipped slightly during the first half of 2016, down three aircraft to 14 shipments versus the 17 aircraft deliveries in the same period last year.
